BiographyHistory

Elga Leja has been a broadcaster on Radio 2EA and producer of the Latvian language program on that station, has organised evenings with readings of Latvian poetry and prose and has written and directed plays. In 1972, she went on a tour of Canada, the United States, England, West Germany and Sweden, lecturing on Latvian literature.
