BiographyHistory

Mykola Lazorsky was born in the Poltava region, the Ukraine. He studied Law and Humanities at Kharkiv University and was editor of a monthly magazine, Gubernskoe Prisutstvie, in Poltava. Later he took another position as editor with Derzhavnye Vydavytstvo Ukrainy [State Publishing House] in Kharkiv, where he published his first three books. In Australia he settled in Melbourne, continuing to publish many essays in the Australian Ukrainian press.
