BiographyHistory

Mintauts Eglitis studied Music at the People's Conservatorium in Riga and Arts at the University of Riga as well as at the Baltic University in Hamburg, Germany. He then worked as a publisher. He was a member of the Latvian Press Society of Australia and of the Latvian Writers' Association of America. His work won the Spodris Klauverts Literary Award and an honorary award from the World Federation of Free Latvians Culture Fund. He read his work at numerous Latvian writers' days in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
