BiographyHistory

Hilaire Natt (B. A., Dip. Ed) submitted her thesis, 'Euphoria in Utopia : The Television Coverage of the America's Cup, 1986-87' for a Master of Arts in the Literature and Communications Programme at Murdoch University in 1987. She has also been a co-editor of Continuum : Journal of Media and Cultural Studies at that institution, and a member of the Royal Western Australian Historical Society and the Western Australian Bridge Club. As well as her two works of children's fiction, she researched and wrote the script for 'The Canning Stock Route' (1986), an audio-visual education kit. The character from her children's books, Quentin the Quokka, is included in an audio-visual teaching resources kit distributed by the News South Wales Teaching Resource Centre (titled 'Gurbal the Magpie and Quentin the Quokka', no publication date available).
