Martin is a bookseller and orienteer with a BA(Macquarie University).She has also written Map & Compass Fundamentals (1976), Netball Fundamentals (1977), Personal Development (1979), Health (1979), Softball Fundamentals (1980) and Let's Get Into Orienteering (1991).
