BiographyHistory

Screenwriter, script editor.

Bevan Lee's credits as a television scriptwiter date back to the early to mid-1980s through series such as Prisoner (1986) and Sons and Daughters (1982-87), for which he wrote more than 100 episodes. Since 1988 he has written episodes for such series as Home and Away (1988-2008), The Flying Doctors (1991), The Adventures of Skippy (1992), All Saints (1998-1999), Always Greener (2001), Marshall Law (2002), Headland (2005) and Packed to the Rafters (2008-09).

In addition to script writing Lee has also established himself as one of Australia's leading story and script editors (often being employed as script executive or script consultant). Among the production he has been involved with are the Halifax f.p. telemovies, and series such as Prisoner, Spellbinder, McLeod's Daughters, Water Rats, Chuck Finn, Marshall Law, City Homicide (2007-09), All Saints and Packed to the Rafters. He was also script executive for The Potato Factory mini-series (2000).
