BiographyHistory

Norman Moore was educated at Telopea Park High School, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. After completing his schooling, Moore moved to Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, where he worked in the timber and joinery industry. He later returned to Canberra and took up work firstly with the C.S.I.R.O., and then with the Bureau of Mineral Resources and the Australian National University.

Moore has written extensively on the history of Australian mining, prospecting and the restoration of mining equipment.
