BiographyHistory

George Trost was forced to leave Nazi Germany in the 1930s and came to Australia. He found life difficult in the Depression. After farming for a number of years he became a taxi driver. In 1941 he married Ruth Gorland at Waverley, Sydney. Trost also wrote reports on the Australian scene for a German magazine from 1962.
