BiographyHistory

Reverend Roger Bush was an Australian Methodist minister and media personality. He worked for BHP at Wollongong before being ordained as a minister.

Bush became an early talkback radio minister on Connections, a three-hour programme he devised and hosted on 2CH in Sydney. He wrote a column for the Sydney Sun newspaper for 12 years, and on the opening of the Sydney Opera House in 1973 was responsible for the Christmas program of celebrations.

Bush became a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 1973 and an Officer in 1981 for service to the community. In 1989, he retired to Port Macquarie, New South Wales.
