BiographyHistory

Sorrel Wilby, one of five children, is an acclaimed adventurer, filmmaker, author, photographer and artist. She dropped out of art college and travelled around Australia, in the process discovering what she wanted to do. For nine years she worked as a journalist on Channel Nine's 'Getaway' program. Her career includes the world's first complete traverse of the Himalayas, a 17,000km solo bike ride throughout Asia and other extreme feats. Wilby has published numerous books recounting her journeys.
