BiographyHistory

Ellis Rowan was one of Australia's most talented natural history artists, specialising in flowers and birds. Rowan grew up in Victoria, but her working environments also included Western Australia, Queensland and New Guinea.

Rowan was the aunt of Maie Casey and Joice Nankivell Loch (qq.v.).
