BiographyHistory

Eva Rehorek studied dramaturgy and production at the Theatre Academy at Charles University, and published several plays and translations from German, Polish and French. She completed her MA in 1962. She married and migrated to South Australia in September 1969. She and her husband started their own theatre company, the Paperbag Theatre Company. In 1992 Eva studied at the University of Adelaide, graduating with a BA (honours). In 1993 she retired to devote her time to writing.

As well as the books listed here, Eva Rehorek is the author of several unpublished plays and has published Puppets Around the World (1979), and other books in the Czech language.
