BiographyHistory

Meillon was the sister-in-law of Jill Meillon (q.v.). She was editor of the children's page of the Sydney Morning Herald Women's Supplement from 1934 to 1939. Meillon also wrote serials for the Australian Broadcasting Commission children's session and dramatised works of literature such as Huckleberry Finn and Oliver Twist. Meillon and Stuart Glover adapted The Adventures of Marco Polo Junior (1973) from the animated feature film.
