BiographyHistory

Atkinson was born in Victoria but spent considerable periods of his life in England, Europe and the US. A volume of verse, listed amongst his works, 'Queen Rosamond: A Dramatic Poem' (1922), has not been traced. None of Atkinson's plays appear to have been produced. Atkinson also provided the lyrics for a number of songs. Father of M. E. Patti Walker, and grandfather of Michael Daniell (qq.v.)
