  • Percival Cole was a noted educationist who, in addition to the tiles listed in AustLit, wrote many books on education. He was also the author of textbooks and editor of editions of some of Shakespeare's plays. For many years he co-edited, with Alexander Mackie, the journal Schooling. He wrote the words of Keep Australia: A National Song for Australia (1946), with music by Alfred Hill.

    Cole was the husband of Ida J. L. Cole (q.v.).
