BiographyHistory

Marjorie Clarke worked as a governess in India, where she wrote children's stories for the Times of India, and beauty and household hints as 'Ellen Harriet'. She moved to Perth in 1949 and worked for the Western Australian Department of Education. Clarke also wrote for the Western Australian School Paper. In 1959 she returned to England.
