BiographyHistory

Anne Bracken was born in England, but lived most of her life on the South Coast of New South Wales. She pursued a musical career before writing her first book, Jancy Wins Through. This book was followed by others in the Jancy series, as well as as series called The Twins. According to Bonza Schooldays, 'In Singing Roads she refers to a new series about a twelve-year-old girl called Pim, to be published by Sydney Ure Smith, but these remain untraced'.
