BiographyHistory

'Patrick Winn', the pseudonym used by Arthur P. Padley, was derived from his wife's maiden name. Padley spent some time as a law student at Liverpool University, England, before settling in Western Australia in the late 1920s, where he was for a time a stockman and a jackeroo. He published many stories in the Western Mail.
