BiographyHistory

John Gilmour Swan was an Anglican clergyman who served in a number of parishes in Victoria, including St Peter's Eastern Hill (1892-1893), where he gathered much of the material for his first novel The Ritualist (1900) which he published under the pseudonym J. Wallace Knight.
