BiographyHistory

The Reverend Thomas Scambler also published books of moral and religious instruction, including The Bankruptcy of Rationalism (1928), The Romance of the Churches of Christ (1930), The Sabbath, or, The Lord's Day (1931), Why Smith Did Not Go to Church (1938), The Art of Sermon Construction (1944) and At the Lord's Table (1955). One of his hymns appears in Notable Hymns and Their Authors by A. M. Ludbrook (1935).
