BiographyHistory

Woodard was born in London and educated privately. She came to Queensland as a child with her mother, after her father died, and became a teacher in the Queensland Education department. She contributed to journals including the Queenslander and the Sydney Mail, and was a member of the Queensland Authors and Artists Association, as well as the Royal Geographical Society.
