BiographyHistory

John Hobbs was educated at Brisbane's Church of England Grammar School and then continued his studies at universities in Sydney and London. He taught in several secondary schools in Queensland and New South Wales and enlisted with the Australian Army on 8 October 1942. Hobbs served in World War Two in the 2nd A.I.F. and attained the rank of Lieutenant
