BiographyHistory

Woods was the youngest daughter of Frank Greenwood Neild and his wife, Gertrude Lucy nee Shewin who married at Molong in 1881. It is probable that the father was related to John Cash Neild (q.v.), insurance agent and politician. Maude Neild had three brothers and two sisters. She married Albert H. Woods at Condobolin in 1923. She published poetry both as Maude Neild and Maude Woods.
