BiographyHistory

'Aldus Thurian' was born and raised in Melbourne, living there until he moved to Queensland in 1900. After working in the mining districts of western Queensland for seventeen years, he moved to New Guinea where he joined the Government service and became a resident magistrate. Retiring in 1942, he returned to Queensland and lived out the remainder of his life on Magnetic Island.
