BiographyHistory

John W. Schoales came to Australia as chaplain to the emigrants on the Sultana in 1850. He was the Church of England priest at St Mary's, Sturt, Adelaide, 1851-1854 and at All Saints' Church, Hindmarsh, 1854-1859. Schoales also published The Duties of the Christian Minister and His Flock : A Sermon Preached at All Saints' Church, Hindmarsh, October 15, 1854 (1855).
