Master Julian Prang was 'a sadistic child, but a poetic genius. Master Prang was martyred in a horsetrough of a small Australian town a few years ago.' -- Editor's note, Angry Penguins, no.[8] 1945, p.85.

The contributors' notes to Angry Penguins, no.[8] 1945 also state that Prang is Redmond Phillips' 'deceased infant prodigy' (p.179).
