BiographyHistory

MacDonnell contributed to a wide range of newspapers and magazines in the area of history and poetry. In later life she wrote three non-fiction works: Before Kings Cross (1967), Miss Nightingale's Young Ladies: the story of Lucy Osburn and Sydney Hospital (1970) and The Glebe: portraits and places (1975).
