BiographyHistory

Justin Charles MacCartie worked in Melbourne as a journalist and also spent time settled in New South Wales. From 1882 to 1888, MacCartie lived in New Zealand, during which time he was the owner of the Dunedin Brewery. In addition to three works of fiction, he also published A Handbook for Australian Brewers [1884].
