BiographyHistory

The Reverend H. E. Hunt, Anglican parish priest and scholar, took his theological training at St Francis' College, Milton, Queensland. He taught at the Church of England Boys' Preparatory School, Toowoomba. After his ordination in 1933 he worked in various parishes in New South Wales and Southeast Queensland. From 1949 to 1954 he was Rector of St James' parish, then became Rector at Rosewood and St Mary's, Kilcoy, Queensland, in the mid-1960s.

He was also a religious poet whose verses, collected in several self-published booklets, were also published in newspapers and read on local radio stations.
