BiographyHistory

Walter Gale, CMG was the Clerk of the House of Representatives in Australia's Federal Parliament for over ten years from 1917 to 1927. Prior to that he held a variety of Commonwealth and Western Australian government positions including that of the Superintendent of Census and Clerk of the Legislative Assembly. In 1896, he married Georgiana Kennedy Richardson-Bunbury (the daughter of WA pioneers William Richardson-Bunbury and Amelia Molloy).
