'A Freemason' is the pseudonym used for
Evening Hours (1869). While the author's identity is yet to be established, he provides the following information on the title page of that publication:
Formerly Conductor of an English, and Editorial Proprietor of an Australian Journal; Contributor to British Periodicals, lecturer on the Crimean War; Prize Essayist in Victoria, 1856; Author of a Treatise on Australian Immigration, etc etc.
The author is also believed to have published a number of works largely between the years 1850-1900.
