Perry Frame worked as a musician in Melbourne, but married a teacher based in Eastville, near Bendigo. She seems to have begun publishing poetry and short fiction after moving to Eastville in the mid-1920s. She regularly won awards for original poetry at what the Melbourne Herald refers to as 'the Bendigo competitions' (source) and in 1925 was said to be preparing a collection of verses for children for publication: this volume has not been traced.
