BiographyHistory

During the First World War Cogger served [with the British Army?] in Mesopotamia when he was 17, injuries sustained there resulting in losing his sight for 18 months. He came to Australia after the war "on special propaganda work" for Charles Kingsford-Smith and Charles Ulm. Cogger joined the Fellowship of Australian Writers (Sydney) in October 1935.
