BiographyHistory

Mrs Cloud lived in Wallaroo. Her husband, Thomas Charles Cloud, was manager of the Smelting Works for over 20 years. The SA Directory gives his occupation as Analytical Chemist. In 1903 he resigned and soon afterwards left for London. He died at Allington Grange, England on 22 Feb 1918, leaving her a widow. Their son was wounded during the First World War. Mrs Cloud was well-known in Adelaide through the publication of her poems in journals.
