BiographyHistory

Born at Gourdie, Perthshire, Scotland in 1886, Kathleen Mylne came to Australia in 1910 and Queensland in 1913. She was State President of the Queensland Country Women's Association from 1931 to 1939. She edited The Queensland Country Woman from 1929, and contributed verse and articles to various magazines. She also wrote with Mary Ethel Challands (q.v.). By 1937 she was living in a residence called 'Lota House' at Manly, NSW.
