  • Bignold wrote and edited many legal works. He was author of a handbook on auction bridge and editor of "Australian Chess Annual" (1896) and "The Magistrate" (1905-14). Son of Thomas Bignold, q.v. (M&M mistakenly identifies them as brothers).
