BiographyHistory

Peter Earsman joined the Royal New Zealand Signal Corps in 1959, serving in Vietnam in 1967/68 as a Sergeant with 110 Signal Squadron, eventually rising to the rank of Warrant Officer Class 1. After moving to Brisbane, Earsman was employed in the security section of the Queensland State Government.

Earsman's work has been published in Australia and New Zealand. He also featured in the war poetry anthology Poems of Distant Wars. At the time of his death he was in the final stages of publishing a book of his work.
