Terry Larsen has a BA Hons and Diploma of Education and has been a secondary teacher, lecturer, poet, and screenwriter. His poetry has appeared in publications such as Southerly, Meanjin, New Poetry, and Coast to Coast (1973). He was awarded a Literature Board grant in 1975 and an AWGIE in 1987.
Larsen has written a number of screen and television scripts that include Tarflowers (1985, for the Australian Children's Television Foundation anthology series Winners), The F.J. Holden (1976, directed by Michael Thornhill), and Midnite Spares (1982, directed by Quentin Masters), as well as the Australian-Japanese co-production Ultraman, and episodes of A Country Practice, Wildside, Children's Hospital, and Five Times Dizzy.
