BiographyHistory

Allan Fullerton's father was a partner in the firm of Timms, Wilson and Company of Geelong and at a later stage became owner of the estate of 'Gala' at Lismore. Fullerton was educated at Geelong College and Scotch College, Melbourne. After leaving college he worked in his father's office but he moved on to rural station life in Queensland and New South Wales. He finally settled in Geelong, where some of his poems were published. After his death thirteen volumes of carefully written manuscripts were found, of which his friends published a selection: Poems by an Australian Scot.
