BiographyHistory

Arnold Ruttkay was born in Hajdúdorog, Hungary and graduated from the Hungarian Military Academy in 1944. In Australia he has lived in Geelong, and worked as an airline statistician with Ansett Airlines. He has also been a regular broadcaster on Radio 2EA and a regular contributor to Hungarian language newspapers and journals in Australia and overseas. He was Australian correspondent for Kanadai Magyarság [Hungarians in Canada] and he has given numerous public readings in Australia and North and South America.
