BiographyHistory

George Underwood Alley was a medical practitioner and Illawarra farmer. He was a prominent local figure, and wrote a number of pamphlets on local government, and also religion and Freemasonry. In the 1840s, he was the Illawarra correspondent for the Australian, and then the People's Advocate and New South Wales Vindicator.
