BiographyHistory

Deborah Miles began writing in earnest after her entry won a local short story competition. She then sold a number of short stories to Australian magazines and won prizes in two national short story competitions. Miles spent much of her childhood in New South Wales but in recent years has been living in Bendigo. She has had a varied career that has included working in the Department of Justice in Brisbane and working as a clerk with the Commonwealth government.
