BiographyHistory

Dr Chris Tiffin is a Senior Lecturer in the school of English, Media Studies and Art History at the University of Queensland. His research interests include publishing in the humanities and electronic scholarly texts, the theory of editing, nineteenth century British literature, Pacific literatures and Australian literature.

In 1996, Tiffin was a Harold White Fellow at the National Library, where he examined the role of the audience, textual voyeurism and plagiarism in the context of private and personal papers used in historical research. He has also been President of the Bibliographical Society of Australia and New Zealand.
