BiographyHistory

Anthony Uhlmann has been Associate Professor in Humanities at the University of Western Sydney and has taught in the field of literature and film. 

Uhlmann has undertaken extensive study on Samuel Beckett. His publications include an edited collection of essays, Beckett after Beckett (2006), and he was Chief Editor of the Journal of Beckett Studies (2007 to 2013).

He was the Founding President of the Australasian Association for Literature, and has been Director of the Writing and Society Research Centre since 2012.
