The University of Texas Press publishes scholarly books from around the world. The Press also produces books of general interest for a wider audience, covering, in particular, the history, culture, arts, and natural history of Texas. Most recently, African and Native American, Latino, and women studies have been included. The Press has published more than 2,000 books over five decades.
