BiographyHistory

Founded by Richard Edwards and Roderick Malcolm Shaw and taking its name from a barn on a hill overlooking Woolloomooloo where the handpress was housed, the Barn on the Hill Press printed and published three handset, handprinted and hand-bound books using Australian materials and a high standard of design. The partnership was resumed under the name Edwards and Shaw in 1945.
