BiographyHistory

SWY Theatre Company was founded by graduates from the specialist Theatre Arts course at John Curtin Senior High School. Between 1983 and 1986 SWY was resident in a disused warehouse in Fremantle before moving to 65 Murray Street, Perth in 1987. In 1994 the Company was repositioned, adopting the trading name of Perth Theatre Company and became the resident company at the Playhouse Theatre.
