BiographyHistory

The Poets Union Inc. was formed in Melbourne in August 1977. The Poets Union Inc. is 'a non-profit, members' based organisation incorporated in New South Wales' and membership is 'open to any person or institution interested in poetry'. The Poets Union Inc. publishes the journal Five Bells.

Ceased in 2011, when the organisation merged to become Australian Poetry
