BiographyHistory

The printer and bookbinder Robert Bone was trading in Pitt Street, Sydney from about 1861; his printery was sometimes called the "Phoenix Office". Bone seems mainly to have been involved in jobbing printing, and he produced tracts on education, law, and politics. Robert Bone's son Walter Henry Bone inherited the business.
