BiographyHistory

The Leros Press aimed to publish world poetry translated by Australian poets for the Australian reader. Its initial books were funded by the Commonwealth Schools Commission, and its books were published in bilingual format allowing students of language to more fully appreciate the poetry. The editorial committee comprised Phillip Grundy (also the Press's manager), R. F. Brissenden and G. D. Page.
